Carol is an avid scrapbooker. She began scrapbooking in spring of 1997. She also established scrapbook class at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, DC as an after school activity. The students loved scrapbooking and they were involved with page contests that Carol established. How her love for scrapbooking began by looking at her high school senior memory book and she scrapbooked it by handmade. It was a tough job to complete the book without special tools that everyone uses nowadays. She always had that special dream of founding the Deaf Scrapbooking Expo. Her dream has happened with help from her wonderful assistant, Kim Mokris. Hope to see you at our very first Deaf Hands Scrapbooking Expo soon! |
